📣 Trump Considers Pro-Crypto Perianne Boring, Caroline Pham as Possible CFTC Chairs

Two crypto-friendly women, Perianne Boring and Caroline Pham, are being considered to lead the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) under the Trump administration. Boring has been a vocal defender of the bitcoin mining industry and has criticized the Department of Energy and the Securities and Exchange Commission on their regulatory actions.

Pham, a Republican-appointed commissioner at the CFTC, has proposed a pilot program to regulate digital asset markets and tokenization, and has called for more international regulatory cooperation and clearer guidelines between the SEC and CFTC. Another name being considered is Summer Mersinger, as previously reported by Reuters.
