India Update… Association Circular relating Transport Strike
Dear Members,
Ref: Association Circular No. 49/2025 dated 07.12.2025 – Transport Strike by All Seaport Trailer Owners Consortium
As per the current updates, the strike has intensified, and vehicle movements have been severely impacted in and around Chennai, Kattupalli, and Ennore Ports.
This has resulted in:
- Delays in import consignment deliveries
- Non-return of empty containers
- Hindrance to export shipments
As of now, no further meeting has been convened with the agitators, and the strike continues without resolution.
We shall keep you informed of any further developments.
