This post could have been a classic update in business clothes — but let’s be real, we don’t always look “corporate.”

Like this moment, where I’m on top of a mountain, freezing in strong wind, setting up a table just to get the shot for our parter company. 😄

I always wondered what could give me the same adrenaline rush after working in tourism.

The answer ended up being: 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲.

Soon our company will turn four years old. Room9.1 Creative Agency ♥️

And to anyone who has ever tried to run a marketing business in Armenia and stay in the market — come here, let me hug you, my brothers and sisters 🥰😂

We’ve been through a LOT these past years.

We read about these things in books, but here’s what I’ve personally learned about what successful businesses have in common:

𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭-𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬:

1️⃣ Speed
You give them an idea, and an hour later they’re already doing it.
No “Let’s think about it,” no endless meetings.
Just action.

2️⃣ Patience
Marketing requires patience.
One of our partners once joked: “Everyone thinks you have a magic wand, right? You wave it and miracles happen.” 🤣
People who understand marketing know it’s a long but exciting journey.

3️⃣ A 5–10 year vision
Even in unstable times, they move forward confidently.
They have a Plan B, and a clear picture of their future — and they help you see it too.
It’s so much easier to work together when you know exactly where you’re going.

4️⃣ Good communication
They explain everything clearly — requests, tasks, ideas.
It’s like street signs in the U.S.: impossible to misunderstand.
And if you do misunderstand… yeah, the problem is probably you 😂
