I am thrilled to share a wonderful news on behalf of our youth! I am incredibly proud of our little brother, Mr. Penaia Tinitali, who has achieved remarkable success. Penaia is the son of Thorydian Tinitali and Lydian Viiga Kaleopa Tinitali, and his hard work and dedication truly shine through.

Congratulations, Penaia! You have represented not only your school and upheld the proud legacy of your family name. Your achievements reflect the values of our village, Utulei and Vaitogi, and our Ekalesia. Keep pushing forward—you are making us all proud!

Press Release: Tafuna High School's JROTC Robotics team achieved an impressive milestone by winning both the Championship and the Excellence Award at the 8th Brigade Robotics Competition JROTC Invitational, which took place in San Diego, California. This event gathered 30 teams from various regions, including Saipan, Guam, Hawai'i, and the mainland United States, creating a competitive atmosphere that showcased the talents of numerous young engineers and robotics enthusiasts.

The Tafuna High team stood out not only for its technical skills and innovative designs but also for its remarkable teamwork and unwavering dedication. Their success reflects countless hours of preparation, collaboration, and resilience in facing challenges. This victory is a powerful testament to its commitment to excellence and ability to work together toward a common goal.

This is not the first time the Tafuna High School Robotics Team has won international awards in robotics. Last year, they won the Create Award National Championship for the second year, the Robot Skills Champion for Live Remote Skills Event award, and the Judges Award National Championship.

A special acknowledgment is due to Major Siimoa Galoia, whose leadership and vision have provided these talented young men and women with invaluable opportunities to grow and learn. Major Galoia's commitment to fostering their development is palpable in their confidence and skills. Heartfelt gratitude also extends to the supportive parents and guardians whose encouragement and involvement have guided these students to success.

This outstanding achievement opens the door for the team to compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship this coming May in Dallas, Texas. As the largest robotics competition in the world, it represents a tremendous honor and a significant opportunity for these students to showcase their talents on a global stage. The chance to represent American Samoa internationally is a source of pride and inspiration, and the team is eager to demonstrate their skills and passion for robotics in front of a diverse audience of innovators and enthusiasts.
