A milestone for Austria’s energy future 🇦🇹
OMV starts gas production at the Wittau well – the most significant gas find in Austria in recent decades. With its first phase, the project can supply the equivalent of around 100,000 households for 10 years – helping ensure reliable energy for the winters ahead.
By investing around EUR 150 million, OMV is also creating local value, supporting skilled jobs, and strengthening expertise in Austria.
