SARA’S PB RESULT for HACKNEY HALF!! ⭐️
Still so proud of this result -
Amoungst busy roads, bottlenecks, struggling to drink out of cups, even back tracking to throw a cup in the bin.. Sara still managed to take a huge 8min chunk off her previous half time, maintains sub 5:00/km the whole way ⚡️🪽
Continuously learning, being mindful of nutrition, working on strength and stretching, this athlete is building such great habits and foundation !!

Ashton has been racking up the races and mileage.
Here was a sneaky FAST 10km effort a few weeks back 📈
Next stop : Mourne marathon !!

Well done Hattie !!
7th women overall and 2nd in her age group ⚡️
Last weekend this athlete crushed the Taro 20km Skyrun in Japan.
Sky runnimg is not for the faint hearted; steep ascents and descents, resulting in climbing and sliding 😮💨💪🏼
We had a strategy, Hattie executed it well.
Peaks:
✅ nutrition and cooling
✅ utilised poles ( Hattie did this so well her shoulders were sore post race)
✅ was revived and had energy at the end
✅ enjoyed the event and experience
Pits:
❌ taking gels are hard while using poles
❌ legs were tired and mentally not switched on - combination of racing, travelling and the grueling nature of the course
❌ blisters
Next: enjoy some much needed mental and physical rest, then slowly get back into training rhythm
May we all channel your ability to dance along the trails, be present and push through tough moments

A tad late to make the post but even 2 weeks later I am still so greatful to have been able to run, dance, walk and crawl the streets of London ❤️
