The older I get, the less interested I am in things that are supposed to appeal to everyone.

The things I love most usually have personality.

A favorite book.
A favorite place.
A favorite color.

Maybe that’s why we make colorful rings instead of neutral ones.

Not to stand out.

Just to feel a little more like yourself.

For a long time, I thought fitting in was the goal.

Getting older has taught me that the most interesting people are usually the ones who embrace what makes them different.

That’s probably one of the reasons we make colorful rings instead of traditional ones.
