Back at Alligator Gorge for the second time… and honestly, it still wowed us like the first 🏞️✨ Tucked away in the Flinders Ranges, this hidden gem is all about towering cliffs, winding trails, and epic scenery you can never get enough of 🌿🍃

What a wholesome surprise today! 🥹🇯🇵

We bumped into 松坂知哉 Tomoya Matsukasa, the amazing Japanese traveler who’s WALKING from Cairns all the way to Melbourne — on foot! 🚶‍♂️☀️ He’s been on this journey for months, pulling his cart, meeting locals, and experiencing Australia one step at a time.

Matsusaka began his long-distance walk in North Queensland, covering around 40 km a day, pulling a two-wheel cart loaded with his gear—including a tent, spare shoes, and essentials.

His route follows the Bruce Highway, where distances between towns are vast and facilities sparse, increasing the challenge.

We had a lovely quick chat and took a few photos with him in Brisbane, Queensland. His energy is so kind and humble — it’s truly inspiring to meet someone so dedicated to connecting with people and exploring the world the slow, meaningful way.
