EP 33: Sleep like a baby…or not 😂 with and
Lara chats to special guest Hannah Willsmore about sleep, mum to mum.
“Are they sleeping through the night?”
“Are they a ‘good’ sleeper?"
Hannah is a lactation consultant, private midwife, Hypnobirthing practitioner and currently training to be accredited in the possums sleep support approach.
No sleep training pressure in this episode.
We talk about how you 'could' support your baby's sleep rather than feeling like you’re doing something wrong and need to ‘fix’ it.
Lara shares her crazy 4yr sleep rollercoaster with a ‘bad sleeper’.
The possums approach discussed and explained for parents and some ideas you could try to help support your little one if you are struggling.
We go into four of some of the harmful sleep myths still being spoken about today:
1) Sleep breeds sleep.
2) Dont feed your baby to sleep.
3) Sleep associations are a must - dark room etc.
4) Dont over stimulate or get them overtired.
