🎯 Visa Pathways Available:
- Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
- Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)

📌 What’s New This Year?
- ✅ No target sector requirement — open to all skilled occupations
- ✅ Offshore applicants now eligible for subclass 491
- ✅ Streamlined nomination process with broader access

📝 Eligibility for State Nomination:

🔹 Subclass 190 – Skilled Nominated Visa
- Must be living and working in Victoria
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via SkillSelect
- Register your interest with Victoria
- Hold a valid skills assessment and meet minimum points
- Demonstrate employability in Victoria

🔹 Subclass 491 – Skilled Work Regional Visa
- Open to applicants in Victoria or overseas
- Must commit to living and working in regional Victoria
- Submit EOI and Registration of Interest
- Hold a valid skills assessment and meet minimum points
- Show employment prospects or job offer in regional Victoria

🎉 Migration Update – South Australia Receives Interim Allocation for 2025–26! 🇦🇺

Exciting news for skilled migrants! The Commonwealth Government has granted South Australia a **small interim allocation** for the 2025–26 program year 🎯.

📌 Due to the limited number of places, Skilled and Business Migration (SBM) will not open new Registrations of Interest (ROI) just yet. Instead, priority will be given to strong candidates already contributing to South Australia’s workforce—especially those who submitted ROIs during the 2024–25 cycle.

👀 Stay tuned! Once the full allocation is announced, SBM will release updated policy settings for the new program year.

Starting 7 August 2025, the Department of Home Affairs has expanded its list of approved English tests for visa applications. Whether you're applying for a student, skilled, or partner visa, you now have more options to prove your English proficiency!

🆕 Newly Accepted Tests:
- CELPIP General 🇨🇦
- LANGUAGECERT Academic 📝
- Michigan English Test (MET) 🎓

These join existing tests like IELTS, PTE, TOEFL iBT, and OET.

📊 Updated Score Requirements
Score benchmarks have changed across all levels—Functional, Vocational, Competent, Proficient, and Superior. Make sure you check the new minimum scores for your visa type!

⏳ Validity
Test results are generally valid for up to 3 years, depending on your visa subclass.
