Got Back Pain?
Here are the best core exercises from our physiotherapist, Giselle. She demonstrates a few core exercises that can help strengthen core and help manage constant back pain.
Why do Core exercises for Back Pain?
Well, core exercises alleviate and prevent back pain by acting as a natural corset, stabilising your spine, and correcting poor posture. It can reduce the strain and load placed directly on the lower back during daily movements. So performing these movements in particular often can reduce the load on the lower back and enhance activities like bending, lifting, and twisting.
Come and see us to find out more on how to improve your back pain and make daily movements easier.

We had the privilege to hear from Caroline from Health Change.
Our team here at Proactive Health is committed to delivering person centred care and is providing Healthchange Metholody (HCM) training to provide a common language and skill set to do this.
In our fast-paced roles, it's easy to feel like we're constantly juggling priorities without always seeing the impact we'd like. This course has been chosen to help build practical, evidence based skills that will make your work more effective and rewarding.
Demonstrated results and research show Healthchange Methodology can:
Provide a deeper understanding of the skills you already have and introduce new skills to increase your confidence and ability to manage people with chronic and complex issues.
Help make your day to day work more rewarding and effective by reducing conversations that go around in circles.
Improve patient engagement and clinical outcomes
Provide a consistent way to discuss and deliver person centres care.
It was a great day to have Caroline present to us about Healthchange Methodology. Our team is extremely grateful to have the opportunity to further grow, learn, and develop.
We had the opportunity to present about osteoarthritis at Levande Bay Village in Victor Harbor π
It was great connecting with residents and sharing practical strategies around joint health, movement, and staying active with confidence. Thank you for having us!
Are you part of a retirement village, community group, or local organisation in Goolwa or Victor Harbor that would love a FREE health presentation? Weβd love to come and chat! Send us a DM or contact us π
