Tomorrow marks 50 years of NAIDOC, and we'd love you to join us in walking alongside First Nations communities.
The Anti-Poverty Network SA stands in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in celebrating the world's oldest continuing cultures, while recognising that the fight for justice is far from over.
The impacts of colonisation are not history, they continue today through poverty, housing insecurity, over-incarceration, discrimination, poorer health outcomes and systemic inequality. We know that there can be no genuine movement to end poverty without listening to and standing with First Nations people, who continue to lead the fight for justice, self-determination and truth.
Tomorrow's NAIDOC March is led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, Elders and leaders. It's an opportunity for all of us to show up in solidarity, celebrate culture, honour 50 years of NAIDOC, and support First Nations leadership.
After the march, stay for the Family Festival at Tarntanyangga, with live music, cultural performances, community stalls, food, activities and more.

This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the strength, resilience, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
As an anti-poverty organisation, we recognise that you can't address poverty without acknowledging the ongoing impacts of colonisation. First Nations peoples continue to face disproportionate rates of poverty, homelessness and disadvantage, not because of individual choices, but because of systems that have failed them for generations.
We stand in solidarity with Aboriginal communities in the fight for justice, self-determination and a future where everyone has what they need to thrive.
Join Anti-Poverty Network SA at the Naidoc South Australia March this Friday 10 July!
