Join soprano Kate Macfarlane and Ensemble 642 (Hannah Lane - baroque harp, Nick Po***ck - theorbo) as they return to Adelaide to perform the highly expressive "mad songs" of seventeenth-century England. What a finale it was! Adelaide Baroque and the Elder Conservatorium have wrapped their 5th Baroque Academy with a fabulous concert last night. On the final work (Rebel Les caractères de la danse) the 27 academy faculty and students were joined by 62 high school musicians for a huge end to a great week of concerts, masterclasses, lectures and baroque dance classes.
