RAIL CORRIDOR FOR THE NORTH | There's ten months until Christmas (or less than a month until the election), but we have an advocacy win! 💪🏽
The Advertiser is reporting that the State Government is preserving a corridor for a future rail link between Dry Creek and Two Wells.
In 2023, we proposed options for linking the likes of rapidly growing Virginia, Riverlea and Two Wells to sorely needed passenger services.
Late last year, we also visited Two Wells and highlighted issues with local walkability, cycling opportunities, and of course, public transport access. We presented this to Adelaide Plains Council and will share more with you soon.
It feels like Christmas to see the hard work of public and active transport advocates make an impact like this. If you've helped shape our ideas, thank you!

MURRAY BRIDGE TRANSIT IMPROVEMENTS | We support SA Labor's plan to include Murray Bridge bus services in the Adelaide Metrocard system and create extra services.
This covers services between 'the Bridge' and Mt Barker, along with the Footy Express, which will be free.
Reducing costs and improving accessibility for Murray Bridge residents is excellent.
We still believe in expanding passenger rail to Mt Barker, and to Murray Bridge and beyond, and will continue to advocate for this.

First test tram arrives in Glenelg today! 🚊
Drivers have been training and testing the line following completion of the new bridges over South Road, Marion/Cross Road and Morphett Road.
We can't wait - it'll be great to have people return to Jetty Road, Glenelg following the recent (fantastic) streetscape upgrade. 🎉

STILL NO RAIL TO MT BARKER | It's great to see investment in much needed infrastructure and services in Mt Barker in a partnership with the State Government and Mount Barker District Council.
But this plan does not include any mention of restoration of rail to service the area.

STATE ELECTION PLATFORM | We're delighted to reveal our 2026 State Election Platform! This features a five-point plan for public transport in Greater Adelaide and beyond.
We've sent this to Members of Parliament and the Legislative Council across Adelaide.
