From athlete to coach.

Before Josh was helping athletes through rehab, he was going through it himself.

After suffering a syndesmosis (high ankle) injury, Josh experienced firsthand what a structured rehabilitation process looks like. The setbacks, the small wins, and the confidence that comes from having the right team guiding you every step of the way.

That journey sparked something bigger.

Today, Josh is part of the PB Performance & Health team, using both his professional knowledge and his personal experience to help others return to doing what they love.

At PB, rehabilitation isn’t about simply waiting for pain to settle. It’s about understanding your injury, building strength, restoring confidence, and having a plan that’s tailored to you.

Because the best rehabilitation combines evidence-based practice with people who genuinely understand what you’re going through.

Learning from the best to better serve our athletes 🙌🏻

Last month, our S&C team made the trip to Melbourne to learn from Stuart McMillan, one of the world’s leading sprint coaches.

When someone who has coached over 70 Olympians and helped athletes win more than 30 Olympic medals shares their knowledge, you pay attention.

One of the biggest takeaways? Speed isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the fundamentals exceptionally well.
Understanding how athletes produce force, interact with the ground, and coordinate movement at high speeds allows us to better coach the athletes who walk through our doors every day.

A huge thank you to Stu for an outstanding session and to the Western Bulldogs for hosting.

The learning never stops.
