R U - really - OK? - a conversation could change a life.

Mental health is something that anyone can face - but it’s something that no one should have to face alone. A simple conversation could change someone’s life. You never know what someone else might be going through and whilst r u ok day is a single day on our calendar asking each other and supporting each other is something that needs to be happening every day.

It’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok to respond to someone and say no I’m not ok. It’s important to listen to your friends and help support them and find them additional support.

Tomorrow night our team will be participating in the sleepout for homelessness in an effort to fundraise $2500 for Second Chance Programme : a volunteer run charity working in our community to support women and children at risk of homelessness and assisting with their journey towards safe and secure housing.

To accomplish this we will be sleeping out on August the 5th - which tragically is a daily reality for far too many in our community. Please help by making a donation through our team's page.
