The other day, our daughter came home and told us she performed a Samoan dance in front of her whole class for Harmony Day 🤎

And I thought to myself…
Where does this girl even get her confidence from?! She mentioned there wasn’t even any music. She had simply asked her teacher if she could do a Samoan dance to share her culture with her class.

And then I remembered…
this is exactly why we started Polybubs.

We wanted our children to grow up proud of who they are.
Connected to their culture.
Confident in where they come from.

Especially when they may be one of only a few Polynesian children in their class.

What started with one blanket became something much bigger for our family.
A way to keep culture close.
A way to create familiarity and belonging in everyday life.
A way for our children to grow up standing tall in who they are.

So when someone asks about their culture, they don’t hesitate.
They proudly say,
I’m Pasifika. I’m Samoan 🇼🇸🤍
