Stephen is leading a social ride from BrewDog Castlegate at 9am to warm up for the big day. Social ride, no drop and plenty of good times waiting at the end. Still a no drop ride however if you aren't used to big miles yet this isn't the one to start with. We'll have other rides that are shorter with climbs, or similar distance with less elevation for folk to build up to this. Group will likely split on the climbs and reconvene at the top as it's unrealistic to ask everyone to keep the same pace on these bigger climbs.

So what is the route?

Merchant City to Lennoxtown, over the Crow then from Fintry up to the top of the world (otherwise known as Arnprior).

From there we'll head to Buchlyvie (remember all you TdF racers, it's still the UK so ride on the left hand side of the road) and Killearn before heading back to Glasgow via Mugdock.

As simple as that. Bring your climbing legs. Bring snacks. Bring your own spare inners, puncture repair, etc. and bring some good chat. Don't be a nuisance and be respectful to others on the ride.
