Congratulations to Wildflow Tigers on victory at the Rogue Raid 24 hour on the weekend. They win the free entry to the A1 World Cup Final, Malaysia Quest Expedition in April 2027.
In a gripping contest they managed to beat the hot favourites Alpine Avengers by 30 points with a final score of 2520. Tiger Griffins took out third place.
In the end it was Wildflow strategy and decision making that was the difference. It’s great to see Adventure races that still place heavy emphasis on the skill of Navigation and strategy. Congrats to RD Liam St Pierre, who is without doubt one of the best in the world.

The Rogue Adventure 24 hour Raid is the best Navigational Adventure race in Australia. Each of the 9 stages is a full rogaine and the top teams will need to use all of the 24 hours available to complete the 39k trekking, 100k mountain biking and 22k paddling to sweep the course and achieve victory. With a free entry to the A1 World Cup Final, Malaysia Quest Expedition in April 2027, there is a lot at stake.
The hot favourite in the A1 category (4 person mixed) is Alpine Avengers who won the last 24 hour event in 2024. Winners of last years 100 hour event, Wild Flow Tigers will be looking to defend the title with another win. They have recruited Dean Velenski, from NZ champion team Gearshop, which could be the difference.
Race director Liam St Pierre is excited about this years course design with four trek stages, two of which will be more technical with areas of thick vegetation that increase the navigational challenge, with a cave and a gorge being a highlight for those teams that attempt those check points. Success on these stages will be critical in the final result.
