South Sudanese musician Ag Johnson is a multitalented singer, songwriter, and actress. Born in Egypt and raised in Australia, she began her musical journey performing at school talent shows, before moving to Melbourne to pursue a career in the music industry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music Contemporary and went on to further her training in musical theatre, showcasing her versatility as an artist. In 2019, she released her debut single Beauty Within with the Grid Series. In 2023, she performed her debut single Beauty Within at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. That same year she sang the South Sudanese National Anthem at Rod Laver Arena on National TV for the Boomers Vs The World Game. Ag Johnson’s Headline Show celebrates the release of her debut EP, Law of Attraction. Through her art, Ag Johnson aims to inspire emerging POC artists and advocates for greater representation of the BIPOC community in the entertainment industry.
