There’s something so special about currawongs visiting the garden. Their striking feathers, curious nature, and beautiful calls always make them feel a little bit magical. This drawing was inspired by those moments of watching them amongst the leaves and flowers, just being their bold and beautiful selves.

Creating art like this helps me slow down and really appreciate the wildlife around me. Our gardens can be such precious little sanctuaries, not just for us, but for the incredible birds that share our space too.

I loved bringing these currawongs to life on the page and celebrating a little piece of nature that visits right outside my door. 🖤🌿
