Dickerson Family Racing

What an absolute mission of a weekend. Friday night racing here in Esperance for a late model pro dirt round and the Esp vs Kal challenge proved eventful. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best night for Jeff in the late model, as a few incidents led to him being parked up on the infield for the feature.
Molly Dickerson had a great few heats, and in the feature race, she was tussling for 1st position with Jessie, both swapping positions a few times - it was absolutely awesome to watch these two battle it out. Unfortunately, after an incident in turn 1, Molly Dickerson got a flat tire with 3 laps remaining.
After a few repairs Friday night and some attempt to get a few hours' sleep, both cars were loaded and we headed to Kalgoorlie.
Jeff was happy with the night in kalgoorlie, achieving 7th and 4th place in his heats, and starting off in 10th for the feature. On lap 18 of 30, Jeff unfortunately spun out coming out of turn 1; fatigue was well and truly setting in, so the decision was made to park up on the infield.
Molly Dickerson in her little Lancer did amazingly well all night, first time in this car on the Kalgoorlie track, she thoroughly enjoyed it, securing 1st in both heats and her feature.
Molly Dickerson also received top points for new stars in the Esp vs Kal challenge, showcasing the significant improvement she has made this year.
