Burger Rater

My first ‘official’ burger review & as promised it’s the famous Big Mac!
I watched my burger being prepared & could see that the staff member actually took some pride in what he was doing.
Too many times in the past I’ve witnessed a burger being ‘thrown’ together with absolutely no care or attention to detail. As you can see, the finished product looks pretty good!
The taste test however was disappointing, but not surprising. I ate half as an entire burger then tasted each ingredient individually.
My initial thoughts on my first bite - bland! No depth of flavour & thankfully the Big Mac sauce is delicious, that’s really the only thing I could taste.
My breakdown:
- Bun - Great texture, nicely toasted, a little on the sweet side but it is a fact that they contain sugar.
- Beef pattie - Lacked flavour, quite disappointing, needs more seasoning.
- Lettuce - Appeared & tasted reasonably fresh✅
- Pickles - I love them, but only 1 on my burger🤷‍♂️
- Onion - Needed more.
- Burger Sauce - Definitely a winner, made an otherwise ordinary burger acceptable.
At $8.10 it’s not bad value given the cost of food these days but it’s certainly not a meal & not that ‘Big’ anymore.

I won’t go back on my word in saying that a ‘Big Mac’ will be the 1st burger I review but I haven’t needed or felt like one the last few days lol🤷‍♂️😉, so I thought I would share one of my own creations!
‘Chicken Caesar’ burger.
Leftover sliced chicken Kiev, lettuce, bacon, egg, parmesan, home made dressing in a potato bun. Delicious😋

Most of you that know me know that I love food & cooking! I’ve been toying with the idea of reviewing & rating food for some time now so here I go!
We all love a good burger so I thought it a great way to start. It may lead to bigger & better things.
My first review will (almost regretfully) be the famous (or infamous lol)
Big Mac! Not really a fan to be honest but why not start with probably the best selling burger in the world🤷‍♂️!
