Empowering northern Tasmanians towards resource recovery and sustainable waste management.

Join us, and people across our community who will be marking July 1 by taking the Plastic Free July pledge, by choosing simple, practical ways to reduce single-use plastic in their everyday lives.
This movement is part of a wider global effort, with communities around the world joining in on the same day. Together, these individual pledges contribute to an ambitious goal to set a new world record for the most people pledging to refuse single-use plastic in one day.
Many people find that making a simple pledge is a helpful way to get started. Choosing one item like plastic bags, single-use cups, water bottles or food wrap, can feel achievable and often leads to lasting change.
Taking part on July 1 is a chance to be part of something positive, alongside others locally and around the world.
