Our story

Morrison Brewery is an award winning craft brewery located in Launceston, Tasmania.

Established in 2011, we are very much a family business, focussing on quality rather than quantity.

Our focus is on balanced, traditional beer styles, brewed simply but brewed well. Taking immense pride in consistency, we use only the best quality malts, hops and crisp Tasmanian water.

Our core range offers something for everyone, from our easy drinking Session Ale and English Bitter, through to our rich, malty Irish Red Ale and Tasmanian IPA.

Numerous limited releases throughout the year let us express ourselves through other beer styles. Smoked Chilli Black IPA, Batch 500 Baltic Porter, Cognac IPA, Guavaweizen and many more.

Our core range notes:

Irish Red Ale:

Ruby red in colour with biscuit and toffee malt character, low bitterness and a smooth, creamy finish.

English Bitter:

Floral, earthy hops produce a spicy bitterness, layered over a strong, biscuity malt backbone. Perfectly balanced with a crisp, dry finish.

Irish Stout:

Intensely roasty with notes of chocolate and espresso coffee. Smooth and silky in body with a balanced bitterness and dry finish.

Pale Ale:

A classic Pale Ale, chewy caramel malts layered with floral, spicy hops and a perfectly balanced bitterness.

Tasmanian IPA:

A classic West Coast style IPA, caramel and biscuit malt characters with pungent tropical hop notes and a perfectly balanced bitterness.

Session Ale:

Clean. Balanced. Sessionable. Simple.
