Tough day at the office today. Qualifying was a struggle, and I got taken out in race 1. But I bounced back in the feature race, starting from the back of the grid and finishing 5th.

Strong weekend at The Bend for Round 1 of the Yokohama Hi-Tec Oils Australian Formula Ford Championship.
After a tough start to the year with a pre season accident at Winton putting us on the back foot heading into the weekend, Friday was all about finding our feet, struggling a bit with balance and putting a clean lap together.
We turned it around when it counted. Managed to hook up a full lap in qualifying to secure my first national level pole position.
From there, it was game on. Some awesome battles at the front, coming away with my first race win and multiple podiums across the weekend.
P2 in the championship after Round 1, a solid start and plenty more to come. 👊
