In a hidden corner of the world where moonbeams tangle themselves in tree branches and dandelions whisper secrets to the wind, there lives an elf named Hickory with his pet cat Marmalade.
He wears patchwork trousers, a knitted green vest, and comfortable sandals that let his enormous toes wiggle freely.
His wild silver hair sticks out in every direction, and his pointed ears can hear a beetle sneeze from twenty paces
Marmalade has a special gift—she can sense pain injury and sickness and is often found curled up in a strangers bed and need to be returned to Hickory.

He is the night guardian of his village.
He uses his glowing lantern to banish any bad dreams that creep in.
He also lights hidden paths in the surrounding forest beneath the trees making sure no pixies carry any children off.
He is so valued in his village he always has a honoured spot at every table and is amply supplied with his favourite food.
