This game is soo much fun it’s a mix of twist it and twister great for visual motor skills, coordination and spatial awareness!
Common difficulties children with visual motor skills have are
🟡Trouble remembering lefts and right
🟠Forming letters or numbers correctly
🟣Completing puzzles or mazes
Lucky OTs are on the case with special supports to help strengthen your child’s visual motor skills
Pincer grip is so important in everyday life, think about: using keys, doing up a zip, picking up tiny paper pieces in the carpet or opening your favourite flavour of chips!
This activity strengthens the finger muscles which make this movement possible
To make it harder: use the peg or set a time limit
To make it easier: help by doing every second pom pom for the child or use bigger pom poms
