Win: ⭐️ Best Original Book ⭐️
Finalists: Best Dramatic Play

It was inspired by Nature Boy from Moulin Rouge.
The idea of "a man standing behind an open brief case, with a light inside it shining on his face as he tells a story and the story happening around him" sat in my notes app for a while.
Then it became a 40min piece for uni.

Then, the end of 2024, I had written and produced Something Said, and I told Hamish, maybe I do another show next year, rewrite BLUE and put it on again.

Reagan, Laura + Hayden - The more time that passes, the more grateful I am for the 3 of you, as creatives who brought my baby to life, and as the greatest friends.

To Michaela for tackling the fight and intimacy scenes with me - something as heavy as Blue was I was so grateful to have your expertise.
To Hannah + Ziggy for their work on the sound, it meant it was something less I had to do and they did it far better than I could have.
Emma + Carter for operating, helping bump in, being my emotion supports.
Carter + Keagan for photos and videos that meant I could market BLUE.
My family for listening to me yap about BLUE, read it and tell me it wasn't s**t as I feared, for helping make set + props + bringing it all over Brisy for me.
Every audience member who saw it, who cried to me after of what it meant to see this on stage. Who told me to more people needed to see it. That was the win for me.

All of this makes the "book" a show that touched people's hearts. Without these people, no one would have seen the book.

Each new part I don't expect where this play takes me, but I'm loving the ride
