Today our children enjoyed the beautiful Dreaming story, "How the Echidna Got His Spikes." Together we explored Aboriginal culture through storytelling, learning about kindness, respect, courage, and caring for others.

After listening to the story, the children extended their learning through creative experiences, discussions, and hands-on activities inspired by the echidna. These experiences encouraged imagination, language development, cultural awareness, and fine motor skills while fostering an appreciation for Australia's rich First Nations histories and traditions.

🐝 Buzzing with Learning! 🐝

Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring our Bee Sensory Tray today! Through hands-on play, the children investigated textures, colours, letters, and counting while developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Using scoops, tongs, egg cartons, and bee-themed resources, the children sorted, transferred, explored, and discovered at their own pace. Sensory experiences like these encourage curiosity, concentration, language development, and problem-solving skills while making learning fun and engaging.

We loved hearing the children's conversations about bees, honey, and how bees help our environment. What a fantastic way to learn through play! 🍯🐝🌼
