Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning Technicians, Port Hedland based role available.

Specialist Commissioning - Technical Functions Mechanical / Electrical Job in Port Hedland, Karratha & Pilbara Hedland’s Tic Tag Systems provide local, experienced commissioning technicians to seamlessly integrate into mine site asset projects throughout the Pilbara.

Expressions of Interest

We are seeking an A grade electrician to assist with residential smoke alarm replacements out of Perth (approx 300-400 hard wired alarms). Isolate the old, remove and replace with new and test. 2-3alarms per house and all houses within a 2km radius,so very little driving or down time.

Additionally we are also an A grade electrician to remove and replace earth stake clamps, water bonds (if outdoors), clean up surfaces and replace with new clamps, spray with cold galv and attach new labels to each.

Each property also requires RCD injection testing which can be done from the board in conjunction with the SWMS and using the appropriate PPE and testers provided to safely test and store all results for the database and records.

There is 1hr travel required per day and this is paid time. There will be 11hrs on the job minus lunch break.

This role suits electricians who can work autonomously without supervision and remain focussed and on task while working safely and ensuring tenant satisfaction.

YES it will be repetitive however it’s not for ever, we anticipate it to take between 2-3weeks for a couple of electricians.

You will be required to be away from Perth for the duration and will be provided with accommodation and food.

We are seeking motivated electricians who are interested and can commit to this role and all of the conditions mentioned above. The job is quite a few hours out of Perth.
