We’re excited to announce our sponsorship of EmAGN’s upcoming event. Recognised by the Australian Institute of Architects, the “Archi-Peers: Speed Mentor” event will be held on July 25th at Living Edge in Perth. In ten-minute one-on-one sessions, mentors and mentees can engage in focused discussions, exchange insights, and build valuable connections.

 

Two members of our leadership team, Mark Young and Amy Jordan, will participate as speed mentors. Mark, our Director and Managing Principal, brings 30 years of industry knowledge, while Amy, one of our Principals, offers 17 years of experience. They will guide recent graduates, experienced architects, and those planning to register.

 

We look forward to working with the other mentors and seeing everyone there. It should be a great night.

This expansion has been a long time in the making and is reflective of our ambition to better serve our clients across the eastern states of Australia. Historically, Hunt Architects have managed our Melbourne projects out of our Sydney studio. While this approach has served us well, today, we are delighted to be on the ground in Melbourne - ready to deliver exceptional architectural, master planning and interior solutions.
 
Introducing our Melbourne Studio Principal – Will Lakin.
With over 30 years of experience, Will’s leadership will be instrumental in spearheading the Victoria expansion with the launch of our Melbourne studio. As an accomplished architect and master planner, Will has an impressive global footprint with award-wining works spanning across the UK, China, and Australia.

This month, several of our team members are growing their mo’s for Movember. The movement began in Australia in 2003 and has since grown into a global phenomenon. The cause aims to raise awareness on mens health issues; encouraging men to take charge of their well-being and addressing issues that are often considered taboo. Our team will be raising funds with all proceeds going toward various charities, support programs and research that align with their global mission.
