REMEMBER WHO THE F**K YOU ARE 👊🏼

3 years ago I embarked on a journey of self discovery and life enjoyment. I was in a dark place aftersome personal issues i had experienced and i needed a bit of a reality check, some self reflection and some serious self love. Things were great in my little Deb world, i was learning to set boundaries, to say No, and to come out of my shell and reconnect with myself and who i was outside of the Mum and Wife i had been for many years.

2 years ago, I received a promotion at my workplace.
Congratulations and excitement was the initial reaction for myself and those around me. I was already living my best life after a year of making myself a priority and this just seemed like a natural progression into what my forties was turning out to be.

But unfortunately, through fault of my own (and also not), i lost sight of the previous 12 months and what i had worked so hard on, and the next two years that followed became all work work work and no play. And Toxic. I became a recluse, only leaving the house to work and minimal other occasions.

Whilst my nearest and dearest colleagues kept me functional at work, quietly, I was falling in the deepest depression I had seen to date. My day to day was filled with constant anxiety, panic and questions of my self worth started to creep in.

But fast forward to now, and things are looking up! I had to make some difficult changes in order to get back to the person i want to be and so far so good!

So my lovelies, if what i have said applies to you also in some way, then I encourage you to take this image and stick it where you see it every single day!
