You can pick it up and put it down as needed—when they’re sick, on rough days, or just when you need a break. There’s freedom in knowing that you don’t have to choose between being a business owner and an amazing mum; you can do both on your own terms. The key is to pace yourself, find joy in the process, and let the business grow alongside your family.

Taking the kids out on the SUP is such a simple joy. I can’t believe I managed to do it on my own today—the kids were amazing! Seth didn’t even want to get off when the wind started picking up. I’m so glad we’re finally at a stage where I can do this with the boys and not feel overwhelmed by the end of it. Seth’s growing up, not our little buba anymore, and I’m loving the new stages the kids are in.

For all the mums still in the thick of it—the sleepless nights (trust me, we still get those), the 5am wake-ups, doing everything for those little hands—it does get easier. It just takes time, and the seasons do change. You’ve got this, Mumma!
