ToyBox Australia are proud to support Camp Quality and fund 300 Child Life Therapy Sessions in WA!!💫💛
This grant is a lifeline, transforming fear into comfort for children facing the daunting reality of hospital treatments. Child Life Therapists use play and relaxation techniques to help children navigate their anxieties, decreasing stress and uncertainty by increasing their understanding of procedures. An estimated 750 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year in Australia so this service changes lives.
The program fosters resilience and optimism, creating moments of joy that families can cherish even in difficult times. By building lasting connections, these therapists empower children to face appointments and treatments with support, courage, and hope.
We have also funded a Child Life Therapist 5 days a week for Monash Children’s Hospital, FOR A YEAR! 🏥🫶

1,000 children in Australia are diagnosed with cancer annually. Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia provides crucial support to families facing these sort of challenges. They offer accommodations, meals, emotional support, and more to help families cope with the strain of serious illness 🫶🏠
ToyBox Australia funded $40,800 for 200 room night sponsorships in WA alone! In addition we have funded $54,175 to room sponsorships nationally, as well as a lounge room renovation in Victoria. Thanks to your support, we were able to offer warm, home-like environments to these families, providing a much-needed refuge and support system.
As Nicola, Arthur, and Harper’s mum, noted, “It’s a true home away from home, a place to recharge, enjoy a hot meal, and find safety.” Isabel shared, “Without Ronald McDonald House, we would have lost our home and had to move everything just to be close to the hospital for our baby boy’s treatment.”

Last week, the ToyBox team had the pleasure of attending the TSH Australia Christmas party🎄🎅🏼 It was truly inspiring to witness the incredible work and life-changing impact that achieves. The gratitude from the families is a powerful reminder of how transformative ToyBox funding can be for children and their families💙✨
Emma, a TSH mum, shared a heartfelt insight:
“The ToyBox scholarship at TSH helps with so much more than just speech therapy. Alongside the T2 program’s range of professionals, the scholarship provides access to qualified hearing services and checks throughout the year, mental health and psychological services for our TSH child or any immediate family member if needed, and the opportunity to attend both educational and social events run by TSH. It also grants us access to amazing facilities, like the play space, library, and family room at TSH, all of which support Noah’s development while creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that we’re so grateful to be part of.”
We are beyond thankful to contribute to such meaningful change!
