About Stasis
Founded in 2018, Stasis Flute Quartet is formed by four classical flautists in Perth, Western Australia. Caitlin Malcom, Morgana Giannikos, Joshua McMahon and Sherene Nee are current music students at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), their love of music, flute music in particular brought them together to perform quartet music written for C flute, piccolo and alto flute and bass flute. They have participated in the university’s chamber music competition recently, and will be performing regularly as a group for weddings, corporate events, community gatherings and other special occasion. Stasis Flute Quartet is dedicated to providing the best variety and quality flute ensemble music to enhance special events.
