Very excited to officially share that The Femme Fatales of West Australian Wrestling has been selected to screen at the Revelation Perth International Film Festival as part of the WA Documentary showcase.
This film became far more than a wrestling documentary to me. It’s a story about resilience, identity, legacy, and the women who fought to carve out their place within a male-dominated industry here in Western Australia.
Following the journeys of Chili, Harli Hyde, Layla Divine, Michelle K Hasluck, and the lasting legacy of Roxy Ryot, the documentary explores the passion, sacrifice, heartbreak, and determination behind the spectacle of professional wrestling.
What started as time spent embedded in the local wrestling community while directing Spark of the Dream eventually grew into my first feature documentary — and I’m incredibly proud that it will now screen at one of WA’s most important film festivals.

OFFICIAL SELECTION — REVELATION PERTH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2026 ()
I’m incredibly excited to announce that my feature documentary, Prompt: Make a Documentary, has been officially selected for the 2026 Revelation Perth International Film Festival.
This film explores how artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping filmmaking, education, and creative identity — asking whether these emerging tools will democratise storytelling or slowly erode the human foundations of cinema.
Through interviews with filmmakers, educators, researchers, and industry practitioners, the documentary examines authorship, ethics, labour, creativity, and what remains distinctly human in the act of storytelling.
To have this project recognised by Revelation is a huge honour, especially as a Perth filmmaker telling a story deeply connected to Australia’s evolving screen culture.
