One of the many meaningful ways to contribute to reconciliation is by listening to and learning from the stories of First Nations people.
This Reconciliation Week, Reconciliation WA is hosting a memoir featuring June Oscar, a proud Bunuba woman from Fitzroy Crossing, indigenous rights advocate, filmmaker, and former Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner at the Australian Human Rights Commission (2017–2025).
The memoir will explore June's life's work, the challenges and triumphs of advocacy, and her vision for the future of reconciliation in Western Australia.
It will be livestreamed tonight from Hackett Hall, register online to tune in from 5:15pm to 8pm.
