Bespoke Memories
Remembering me
I had the absolute honour of creating this special bear for a beautiful family in memory of their very much missed mum, wife and grandma. Handover day was emotional and lots of support and hugs given. The beautiful message I received melted my heart. I am truly grateful that they chose my little business to make their memory bear. Threads of memories, sewn with love and compassion giving you a sensory memory to hold once again💜💜

Something exciting happened, I have some thing to tell you… I go to call my mum then remember she is no longer here and my heart sinks. 13 years my mum went to her forever sleep and still I go to my phone to give her a call to tell her news, to ask advice to chat and end up unable to breathe because we laughed so hard. Wanting to tell her that I love her and then I can’t really hurts my heart. She made me the strong and caring woman that I am today. Thankyou little mama for passing on your knowledge, your wicked amazing sense of humour and teaching the little me to sew. I hope you are proud of me🩷
A butterfly rests delicately upon an outstretched finger,
fragile and fleeting beneath the muted sky.
The moment feels quiet,
almost like reaching for someone who is no longer there.
One of the deepest pains of loss
is the silence that follows it.
No more late-night conversations.
No more hearing their voice.
No more telling them about your day
or sharing the little moments that once felt automatic.
Grief often lives inside unfinished conversations.
Inside words left unsaid.
Inside the longing to speak to someone
who can no longer answer back.
And sometimes, that silence
becomes one of the hardest parts to carry.
Yet love still speaks in other ways—
through memories, signs, dreams, and moments
when their presence feels near despite the distance.
Because even when conversation ends here,
connection does not always disappear from the heart.
