A renovation that was a real challenge. When you pretty much do the entire house you can really appreciate the changes and challenges. This latest project was completed only recently and I was waiting for the internal paint to be completed prior to getting all the pics. Some show the bold yellow colour scheme of old.
The floor tiles are a timber look porcelain. The bathroom, laundry, WC and kitchen were also completely renewed, the basic layouts remained the same but the result was fantastic.
For something a little different all the tapware and fittings were in a gunmetal finish, we even had the shower screen frame and mirror custom powder coated to suit.

With small bathrooms sometimes fitting a bath in can be challenging, especially if you want a larger shower. In this design with an intersecting bath hob having a nice neat hob is important, plus integrating the screen so it doesn’t intrude. The other important issue is lighting and the 2 sidelights beside the mirror add a nice touch and complement the room well. Simple colour choices mean the room wont date and can be accessorised to change themes.

Another challenge but did get a pretty awesome result. Started with a mess of leaking floor pipes, water in walls and a subfloor that was in need of repair. We ended up replacing the whole waste water system back to the sewer line, now system is secure and drains correctly. Plus gully floor waste is now outside from under the vanity. The vanity with the addition of some scribes looks a lot better and now is all the way to the floor without gaps. Tiling is standard height for this size room, new shower screen and fixtures set the whole room off nicely.
