Wilco Electrical

To mark 20 years of Wilco Electrical, we wanted to create something meaningful to celebrate our journey, and honour the Country we’ve built on, the people who have shaped us, and the connections that continue to guide us forward.

We were proud to commission Noongar, Wardandi artist Kehaan Lange-McGuire to create a bespoke artwork reflecting these values.

Drawing from Whadjuk boodja, the artwork centres around the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) symbolising connection, flow and continuity, while also reflecting Kambarang, the Noongar season of birth, renewal and wildflowers.

There is something especially meaningful in this, with Wilco Electrical itself beginning during Kambarang; a season representing new beginnings, growth, and possibility.

Throughout the piece:
• Waterways represent connection to Country
• Gathering symbols reflect unity and community
• Circles symbolise strong and enduring relationships

More than a celebration of our history, this artwork is a reflection of respect for culture, community, and the land we operate on.
