*Trigger warning - video re-enactment of everyday harm*

Everyday harm isn’t about extreme or intentional abuse. It’s about the small, routine interactions that quietly erode dignity, trust and choice over time.

When these moments go unrecognised, they become “normalised” in support systems, and people with disability are left carrying the impact.

If you’re in the disability sector looking for resources on how to better support people with disability, check out the Preventing Everyday Harm website: EverydayHarm.org.au

Happy Neurodiversity Celebration Week!

This week is about recognising and celebrating the incredible strengths, perspectives, and talents of neurodivergent individuals, while also challenging outdated misconceptions.

With around 15–20% of the population being neurodivergent, creating inclusive schools, workplaces, and communities isn’t optional; it’s essential! True inclusion means ensuring neurodiverse individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute in ways that work best for them.

At Inclusion WA, we believe our strength comes from the diversity of our team. That’s why we actively embrace different ways of thinking, encourage inclusive practices, and are committed to creating an environment where every team member has the opportunity, support, and confidence to thrive.

What a great night we had at the NDS Awards organised by the National Disability Services on Saturday, and we are beyond proud of our mentor Nigel Matthews, who took home the award for Excellence in Supporting Employment Outcomes!

Nigel was recognised for his incredible work supporting Harri in launching his own business — Bold Charters, an accessible transport company.

This marks the second year in a row that one of our fantastic team members has won this category, and we couldn’t be prouder of the passion and impact our team continues to bring to the employment space.
