The 3G’s - Our Story

As youngsters growing up in the far northwest mining town of Port Hedland, Western Australia - siblings Emilio, Mariah and Antonio Gonzalez entered a hip-hop dance competition in 2008 under the name ‘3G’s Crew’ - following on from that, The 3G's formed their vocal group in 2009 to provide entertainment at the numerous community events put on by the Town of Port Hedland. Performing music across all years and genres with hip, modern dance moves incorporated into harmonised, popular and memorable tunes, The 3G’s entertained all age groups. In 2012 the Mayor of Port Hedland Awarded the Gonzalez family with a Community Award in recognition for their services towards the community over the nine years they lived in Hedland. Having relocated to Perth in 2013, The 3G’s have got back into the community spirit - regularly performing at the local Retirement Village, busking at the local Sunday Markets, regular performances at City of Nedlands annual SpashFest; they were the 2014 winners of the Canning Show Talent Competition; in 2015 as entrants on Australia’s XFactor they made it through the Perth and Melbourne auditions and into the BootCamp round in Sydney.
