It has been in the works for a while now, but I am stoked to announce that I will be releasing my newest single 'Maybe' on june 5th!!!!!

This track is definitely a step up in energy and quality. I brought it to band rehearsals in preperation for last years EP launch, and together with the band brought it to life.

I recorded guitars, vocals and bass in my home studio (aka my bedrooom), but had the pleasure of working with the following legends to turn it into its final form:
Rhys Zacher at Spinlight Studio - Mix and Master
Emmett Carroll at Emerald Studios - recording drums
Jack Eccleston - playing drums
Sam Tout - lapsteel / keys parts

Thank you to everyone who came down and supported the release of my debut EP and Live Band!! It was a special moment to make this new project and actual real thing (pun not intended)

Thanks so much to Clare Perrott for opening, the harmonies and delicate guitar was an absolute delight to take in. It was like hearing angels sing 🙌

Lachy John And The Red Bellies you guys were unreal! So much energy and emotion behind those songs. Stoked to see my personal fav 'The Pessimist' in its full glory again 🔥

Thanks to the soundperson, Brendan Dietrich. Absolute mental job on sound, it's always such a damn good feeling knowing that you are in good hands.

And also thanks to the four5nine for letting us host the night at the venue. I love the intimacy of this room, and the vibe this place carries.

The band and I are super amped up, and very keen to get stuck in. I'm gona get back to recording and writing, and the band will be aiming to play a bunch more shows, so STAY TUNED 🙏🫶

I've played at the four5nine countless times and in many different bands. I started my whole musical journey there on September 23rd, 2017 (first pics - a much younger looking Tim) when my first band Phoneline Valentine played our first ever gig at a Rock Scholars end of term show. I've also held a single launch at this venue with my blues band "Redcliffe" and played some shows there with indie outfit "Sporting Goods" - though all 3 bands are no longer active.

The day has come!! My debut EP 'Tabula Rasa' is out now and ready for you to enjoy.

The title, Tabula Rasa, is a reflection of what this new solo venture has meant for me. A clean slate, fresh start and new beginning for me to express myself musically. It has been a huge learning curve to not only flesh out full songs in terms of songwriting, but also to learn the recording, mixing and mastering of the music. The 5 songs that are on this EP take you through a multitude of influences and sounds that I have been inspired by, from classic indie rock, to bluesy alternative sounds.

Special shoutout to my great friend Sam Tout who helped out on synth/keys on tracks 2, 4 and 5. Without his touches and layers the songs wouldn't be as complete as they are now.

I have HUGELY exciting news coming Monday, so stay tuned for that, but for now go give my EP a listen and become familiar with the tracks, so that you can maybe sing along at an event of some kind potentially?? 👀 idk... stick around and find out.

The good news is that we get to do it all over again this coming thursday for the DEBUT LAUNCH of my new live band for my solo project!! It feels so good to start gigging again......
