Our incredible new general practitioner, Dr Maureen Krasnoff, is one of a kind 🧡
'I sit with women at every stage of life, and in hearing their stories - complicated, courageous, relatable and yet always unique - I am reminded of the incredible strength of women, community, and the power of therapeutic relationships in general practice.'
'So many women have gone unheard, or had their concerns brushed aside. As a GP, I'm determined to do better; to earn and maintain the trust that patients place in my care. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am unwavering in my conviction that healthcare must feel safe, welcoming and personalised. Above all, I feel privileged to walk alongside my patients and support them in all the ways I know are possible.'
Dr Maureen is available for bookings at Luma, Shenton Park, for menopause, sexual health, LGBTQIA+ care and women's health support: https://luma.org.au/clinics/shenton-park/

On the first day of NAIDOC, we're celebrating a force to be reckoned with – Rozy Ryder.
We've been lucky enough to cross paths with Rozy over the past few months at Luma – from yarning circles and weaving and painting classes, to her staying up until 1am to finish this incredible commissioned piece of art for us, funded by WA Primary Health Alliance.
Rozy has an extraordinary story. Every time life has pushed her down, she stood back up and made something beautiful out of it. Thank you for being part of our community and space, Rozy.
You'll see her artwork in our Joondalup space soon.
Happy National NAIDOC Week everyone 🖤❤️💛

For women and children experiencing domestic violence – if you have a hidden safe phone, we recommend turning it OFF, giving it to a safe person, or switching it to airplane mode on July 27th at 12pm.
A new Australian national warning system (called the AusAlert test) will send a safety alarm to all phones at this time, even if the volume is turned down, or it’s on silent / do not disturb.
Share this message & stay safe. 🧡
