You've been showing up. Posting regularly. Trying your best. And you're gettingโฆ crickets ๐ฆ
Before you decide social media doesn't work for your business - let's look at a few things:
๐ Is there a strategy behind the content, or are you just posting to post?
Are you talking to the right audience, or just into the void?
Does your content give people a reason to follow, engage, or reach out?
Are you posting at the right times for when YOUR audience is online?
Is your bio doing its job? (Most aren't.)
Consistency is important. But consistency without strategy is just noise.
If you've been showing up and not seeing results, the content isn't the problem. The strategy is.
That's fixable. And I can help.

Think about the last time you discovered a new business. Did you Google them first, or did you find them on a social media platform? ๐
Most people are heading to social media before they do anything else and what they find there will either build trust or cost you the sale before you've even had a chance to speak to them.
So here's the uncomfortable question: if someone landed on your social media page right now, would it make them want to reach out? Or would they scroll through a few posts, shrug, and move on?
Because your social media isn't just content anymore. It's your first impression, your portfolio, your sales pitch, and your personality - all rolled into one.
If you're not happy with what they're finding, that's exactly what I'm here to fix.

There's a point where doing your own social media stops being scrappy and resourceful and starts costing you more than it saves.
Here are the signs you're there:
๐ฎโ๐จ You're posting out of guilt, not strategy - "I really should put something up today"
You've been meaning to "get consistent" for the last six months
You spend more time staring at a blank caption than it took to do the actual job
Your content doesn't really sound like your business anymore, it sounds like everyone else's
You know your social media should be better, but you genuinely don't have the time or headspace to fix it
You're leaving money on the table because people can't tell from your feed what you actually do or why they should choose you
If you nodded at more than two of those, it might be time to hand it over.
You started your business to do the thing you're good at - not to spend Sunday night writing captions.
That's my job. And I'm pretty good at it.

Mine know who they are and I genuinely don't know what I'd do without them ๐งก
The ones who answer at weird hours. Who hype you up when you're doubting yourself and tell you the truth when you need to hear it. Who show up with wine or coffee depending on the situation and somehow always know which one it is.
The ones who make you laugh until your stomach hurts and then five minutes later are helping you solve an actual life problem.
If you've got a little crew like that then you're winning at life.
Tag yours because sometimes people need to hear it.

Your social media can be working perfectly and your website can still be the thing that kills the sale
I see it all the time. Someone discovers a business on social media, they're interested, they click the link and then the website loses them in about 30 seconds.
Here are the five things I check first when a website isn't converting:
Within three seconds of landing on your page, visitors should know exactly what you do, who you do it for, and why you're different. If they have to scroll to figure it out, you've already lost them.
Your customers don't actually care about your story - they care about what your story means for them. Flip the focus.
Reviews, logos, testimonials. People want to see that other people trust you before they do.
"Learn more" is not a call to action. Be specific about what you want them to do and make it easy.
Which is: they don't. They scan. Short sentences. Clear headings. White space.
If your website needs a once-over, I do that too. ๐

I've heard so many small business owners say "I give up, the algorithm hates me" and I get it. It genuinely feels that way sometimes.
But here's the thing I keep coming back to: the algorithm is just a delivery system. It gets your content in front of people. What happens after that is still entirely human.
People still stop scrolling for something that makes them laugh. They still save the post that felt like it was written just for them. They still DM the business that made them feel something.
So yes, keep an eye on trends. Post at the right times. Use your keywords. Do the technical stuff.
But never let chasing the algorithm talk you out of making content that actually connects. That part hasn't changed and it never will.

30 June is closer than you think. If your marketing has been sitting on the back burner all year - consider this your nudge.
Here's what I'd be looking at before EOFY:
โ
Are you claiming your marketing costs as a business expense? Social media management, ad spend, and website costs are all deductible - chat to your accountant if you're not sure.
โ
Have you actually reviewed what worked this year and what didn't?
โ
Do you have a plan going into the new financial year, or are you going to wing it again?
The businesses that grow aren't the ones who post when they remember. They're the ones with a plan, a budget, and someone in their corner who knows what they're doing.
New financial year starts 1 July. There's still time to go into it with a proper strategy.
Let's chat. ๐

Does anyone else have a friend (or friends) who send reels like this and yet here we areโฆ still haven't done it? ๐
Girls weekend. Road trip. That restaurant we've been saying we'll go to for two years. The matching outfit idea. The spontaneous beach day that somehow never happens.
The intention is always there. The follow throughโฆ less so.

POV: Your follower count is one of the least important numbers on your social media. I know. Bear with me.
Here are the metrics that actually tell you whether your social media is working:
๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฌ - When someone saves your post, they found it genuinely useful. The algorithm loves this more than a like.
Someone liked your content enough to put their name on it and send it to someone else. That's word of mouth at scale.
People are curious enough to click through. Are they finding what they need when they get there?
Are people actually going to your website or booking page?
The holy grail. Someone saw your content and decided to reach out.
A post that gets 8 likes and 3 DMs is infinitely more valuable than one that gets 200 likes and zero action.
Vanity metrics feel good. Conversion metrics pay the bills.
So next time you post something and feel deflated by the likes - check the saves. Check the DMs. Check your profile visits. The story is usually better than it looks on the surface.

The playing field has never been more level and somehow, that's made standing out harder.
Every business has access to AI tools right now. The captions, the emails, the blog posts - they can all be generated in seconds. And you can tell.
The feeds are full of content that's technically fine. Correct grammar. Decent structure. Absolutely zero personality.
The businesses cutting through aren't the ones using AI the most. They're the ones using it without losing themselves in the process. Their content still has a point of view. A tone. A reason to exist beyond filling a posting schedule.
Your voice is the one thing AI can't copy. Don't outsource it completely.
