We've been pretty quiet about Memorial Drive.

Not because we don't care. In fact, we've been there every Sunday for the past 15 years through our CREW Mobile Meals program, and in recent weeks we've even started going earlier because the need has grown.

We also recognise that the recent attention has helped bring awareness to an issue that has existed for a long time. Conversations are happening, people are asking questions, and many are asking us, "How can we help?"

Our answer is simple: help us keep showing up.

Our heart has always been about more than handing someone a meal. The CREW is a place where people can choose to come. They can have a coffee, a shower, practical support, a conversation, and be connected with services when they're ready. Over time, trust is built, relationships are formed, and hope begins to grow.

We've been serving our community for 10 years, and one thing we've learnt is that homelessness doesn't disappear when public attention moves on. The need is still there next week, next month, and next year.

We often think about what could happen if 500 people committed just $1 a week. We could open our doors another day. Imagine if it was 10,000 people. It's not about one large donation. It's about a community of ordinary people choosing to faithfully support something that quietly changes lives.

So if you've been wondering how you can help, we'd love you to partner with us. Help us keep our doors open, keep our mobile meals on the road every Sunday, and continue providing a place where people are known by name, not by their circumstances.

A little appreciation post for the silent donors. ❤️
Yesterday, a local family dropped off bags of clothing, sanitary items and other essentials for our community. They didn't ask for recognition, but we wanted to say thank you anyway.
Every bag, every box and every act of kindness helps us support someone who is doing it tough. We are so grateful.
