✨🌹 10 Years of Desert Roses in VACSAL Carnivals 🌹✨

This year marked a really special milestone for our Desert Roses Club – 10 years of playing together in the VACSAL Netball Carnivals.
What started of with one Team back in 2015 has now seen Atleast 3-4 Junior Teams and 3 Senior teams participate in the Carnivals over the years.
Over the past decade, these carnivals have given us so much more than just netball – they’ve given us friendships, growth, memories, and a strong sisterhood that continues to bloom. 💜

This year’s junior carnival was especially meaningful. It was our first without our beloved Matriarch Nan Audrey, who has been the heart and guiding light of our team since the very beginning. Her spirit, love, and leadership were with us every step of the way – on and off the court. 🌹✨

We are so proud to honour her legacy by continuing to play the game we love, together as one. Here’s to 10 years of Desert Roses, to all the players past and present, and to many more carnivals ahead. 💜🏐🌹

Here is also a big Shout out to our 3 teams who participated this year in the Junior Carnival in Sections 12’s/U 15’s/U and 17’s/U we are so very proud of everyone of yous and we thank you for putting on the Roses colours and playing with pride out there. 🌹✨

Biggest Special Mention to Nans Very Own Girls in the 15’s and 17’s for both walking away with the Premiership Cup and also 2 of her own with Grandfinal MVP.

We know she is beaming with pride up there 💗
