St Peters Lutheran Kindergarten- Springfield

The team at St Peters Lutheran Kindy were busy last week attending the LEQ Early Years Conference. We attended many sessions on different aspects that help our team grow professionally and apply skills and knowledge in practice.

We welcomed Term 3 with the Braveheart Incursion today. Children learnt about the personal safety skills, feelings, warning signs, My body, esafety, and their own safety team of trusted adults. This incursion involved a live show, songs and dancing.

Easter morning tea with our Kindy children and families. We joined with Ps Matt sharing few songs and a story about the importance of celebrating Easter. The story of resurrection Sunday.

We had a great session for our families yesterday with the Mind Bubbles program. It was an interactive, fun session with lots of takeaways for everyone. I have received great feedback from families on how great Mind Bubbles program is and the simple strategies that can help to calm the emotions and self regulate.
