Celebrating the art of shared dining
Curated tablescapes for meaningful moments

Beautiful food deserves a beautiful table. 💙🍽️

For me, entertaining isn’t just about what’s on the menu, it’s about creating a table where everyone feels welcome to gather, share and enjoy good food together.

Tonight’s dinner is served on our Blue Bell Vine collection. The hand-painted serving bowl and platter beautifully complement the deeper blue tones of the matching tablecloth, creating a layered look that’s elegant yet effortless.

I’ve served the green beans and roasted cherry tomatoes in the statement bowl, while feta and olives are nestled into individual bowls so everyone can help themselves to exactly what they love. The Greek-style chicken takes centre stage on the matching platter, ready to be shared around the table.

Finished with natural round jute placemats, soft blue dinnerware, matching Blue Bell Vine napkins and mother of pearl napkin rings, this tablescape is all about bringing family and friends together.

Because the best meals aren’t just eaten...

They’re shared. 💛

Here’s one of my favourite styling hacks... and it might just save you from buying another vase! 💙🌿

Have you ever bought or picked beautiful flowers, only to realise they’re just a little too short for your favourite vase?

Instead of searching for a new one, simply place a few paper napkins in the base of the vase before arranging your flowers. It gently lifts the stems, helping your arrangement sit higher and creating a fuller, more balanced look.

Sometimes it’s the simplest styling tricks that make the biggest difference.

At Shared Plates, we’re all about making styling easier, more enjoyable and helping you create a beautiful home without overcomplicating it.

Would you try this little hack? 🌸

My Sunday reset starts right here 🥂✨

Styling a coffee table doesn’t need to be complicated. A few thoughtful pieces can completely transform your living space and make it feel warm, inviting and lived in.

For this look, I layered some of my favourite home styling books, a decorative bowl filled with a simple nut mix, marble coasters, candlelight and fresh florals with native foliage.

But the styling isn’t really the point.
For me, a beautifully styled home is about creating moments. Moments to slow down, switch off, pour a glass of bubbles, pick up a book and enjoy a little time to yourself.
Sometimes the smallest corners of our homes become our favourite places to be. 💛

What would be on your coffee table?

Team napkin or team paper napkin? 🤍

When styling a casual dinner table for family and friends, I don’t always reach for a full tablecloth. Sometimes all you need is beautiful layering.

For this table, I started with warm white jute placemats and added the Ruby Orchard table runner to bring colour, pattern and personality to the centre of the table. A little tip, don’t be afraid to fold your runner to suit the size of your table.

Now let’s talk napkins...

I will always choose a cloth napkin over a paper one. A beautifully folded napkin and napkin ring instantly elevates a place setting, making guests feel welcomed and the occasion feel just a little more special. There’s something lovely about sitting down, unfolding your napkin and placing it on your lap before a meal.

Layered with organic green and clay dinnerware, gold cutlery, crystal glassware, scalloped serving pieces and a stunning floral arrangement, this table proves that a few thoughtful details can completely transform a casual dinner.
At Shared Plates, we believe styling your table should be simple. That’s why we curate complete looks, allowing you to shop almost everything you see on the table in one place,
saving you time and making entertaining easier.

Think your table is too small for entertaining? ✨

One of my favourite hosting tricks is using a tabletop board to instantly increase the size of my dining table. By placing it over the existing table, I can transform a 2m x 0.8m table into a generous 2.4m x 1.2m setting, creating more space for family, friends, and all the beautiful details that make a gathering special.
The best part? You don’t need to buy a larger dining table to host more people.

A larger table means more room for layering, styling, serving platters, candles, and creating those memorable moments around the table. 💛

Because at Shared Plates, we believe gathering should feel effortless, beautiful, and welcoming, no matter the size of your everyday table.

Styling a kitchen bench with organic shapes, layered greens, and pieces that feel collected over time 🌿✨

A green pedestal bowl overflowing with lemons and fresh foliage brings texture and life to the space, while the organic scalloped vase filled with natives creates a beautifully soft, natural moment, even if the scalloped rim takes a little extra fluffing to get just right. 💚

To finish the look, a ribbed water jug filled with lavender and mint from the garden adds freshness, fragrance, and that lived-in feeling we love so much at Shared Plates.

Simple styling, thoughtful layers, and everyday beauty.

Who would love this arrangement on their kitchen bench? 🍋

An everyday table…winter edition ❄️

Styling my everyday table from autumn into winter ❄️🌿

This season, I’m leaning into warmth and rich natural tones, starting with a warm jute runner finished with soft green accents (my favourite colour 💚).

For the centrepiece, I’ve used our mango wood pedestal bowl and, of course, my favourite bowl hack… choosing a deeper bowl means you can style it beautifully using less fruit. 🍐🍇🍌

Filled with grapes, pears, apples, kiwi fruit and bananas, it creates an abundant everyday look without feeling overdone.

To frame the table, I’ve added two deep green vases filled with Kaleidoscope foliage, a stunning plant that shifts from green to orange and red, finished with delicate white flowers. The perfect arrangement for cosy winter living. ✨

Simple styling. Seasonal colour. A table made for everyday moments. 💛
